Well speaking of models tripping over today …. The funniest thing happened!! I was walking with my cousin and my friend. Actually come to think of it I was strutting my stuff in my high heels and then my friend calls over to me and goes BABE! That guy was totally checking you out!!

So when I heard that I’m like well that’s so awesome and I was feeling pretty good about myself. Well that feeling only lasted about 2 seconds because as soon as I heard that as I was smiling I basically tripped over in the middle of the busy city street and also took my cousin down with me.

I started to combust in laughter, instead of getting embarrassed and my cousin was luckily holding my hand so she kind of caught me before I totally stacked it. About 10 Seconds after I had recovered barely being able to breathe because at this moment in time this was like the funniest thing that had ever happened to me or something, my cousin trips over as well, while still holding my hand. Its one of those things I will always look back on it I want to have a good giggle.

And it just kind of made me think. About attitude and happiness. I mean its all a projection of how we feel right? And how we feel is really determined by the meaning that we attach to certain events. So in this situation for example. When I tripped over I could have been totally embarrassed about it, gone bright red and pretend that it didn’t even happen and just feel really self conscious the whole day because I would have looked like an idiot in front of hundreds of people.

Or situation B which was trip over, find it absolutely hilarious and have it as the highlight of my day.

Isn’t that so true of life. I mean the only reason why any of us feel the way that we do is because of the meaning we attach to EVERYTHING that happens to us.

It reminds me of one of the stories Anthony Robbins talked about. There were two guys that he came across in one of his seminars. The first guy was literally bouncing off the walls and just very happy and vibrant and the 2nd guy was depressed, slow and barely would be able to smile. Anthony asks the 2nd one why he wasn’t happy. This guy then went on to explain that he couldn’t be happy because he had not reached his target goal of earning $1.5 million a year and therefore did not classify him as successful and said that when that day came around he could feel that way. Tony then approached the other guy and said why are u so happy? This guy responded with “Im just so happy to open my eyes every morning and to know that im still alive!!!”.

It just makes me think, how just a simple shift in out psychology can really change the course of our life. It really can. And it all comes down to is the rules that we place on ourselves that allow us to be happy. While happiness in many ways is linked to gratitude, it can absolutely transform your life. I guess why gratitude works so well, is because you are focusing on all the things that you do have, of all the accomplishments that you have already achieved, of how you have grown as a person already, that you can then apply that self confidence to any of the your future endeavors.

So if I had any last words to say I would simply say this … Be happy that you get to wake up in the morning. Give up all those hard rules on what makes you happy. Get the simple things to make you happy. Like seeing a beautiful flower, like seeing someone smile, and being happy simply because you have the choice to BE! If this hot alpha female can give up on her rules, than you can too!

Hot Alpha Female =)
